The Sales Operations Analyst is a strategic business partner to Sales Leadership, responsible for driving operational excellence, forecast rigor, pipeline health, productivity, and disciplined execution across India region.
Working directly with Regional Vice President of India, Regional Directors, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role delivers forward-looking insights, identifies risks and growth opportunities, improves business processes, and supports achievement of revenue objectives. The successful candidate combines strong analytical capability with commercial judgment, executive communication, and independent execution.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as the primary Sales Operations partner for Sales Leaders in India, supporting strategic planning, operational execution, and business reviews
- Build trusted relationships with RVPs, Regional Directors, sellers, and cross-functional partners.
- Provide forward-looking insights and recommendations that improve growth, productivity, and execution discipline
- Influence decisions through clear analysis, commercial judgment, and practical recommendations
Forecasting and Business Cadence
- Drive a consistent weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operating cadence across the region
- Support forecast reviews and proactively identify forecast risk, pipeline gaps, execution challenges, and upside opportunities
- Prepare concise, executive-ready analyses that help Sales Leadership stay ahead of business issues
- Monitor critical performance indicators and recommend corrective actions where required
Pipeline and Revenue Analytics
- Analyze pipeline generation, progression, coverage, conversion, and sales productivity trends
- Translate data into recommendations to improve pipeline quality, velocity, and conversion
- Conduct territory, whitespace, account, and market opportunity analysis
- Support annual planning and go-to-market development with accurate, timely, and relevant insights
Sales Process Excellence
- Identify operational gaps, process bottlenecks, and performance inconsistencies, and drive resolution
- Promote adherence to sales policies, methodologies, data standards, and operating requirements
- Partner with Finance, Enablement, Marketing, Data, Systems, and other teams to improve seller productivity and business outcomes
Salesforce, Data, and Systems
- Independently navigate Salesforce processes, reports, dashboards, and underlying data required for day-to-day Sales Operations support
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Sales Operations tools, reporting, and workflows
- Drive data quality, governance, process compliance, and accurate use of sales systems
- Support user adoption and operational training where required
Operational Ownership and Communication
- Provide proactive, reliable, and insight-driven day-to-day support with minimal supervision
- Prioritize effectively, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership from issue identification through resolution
- Escalate risks early and appropriately, with clear context, business impact, and recommended action
- Communicate in a clear, timely, and structured manner so Sales Leadership and stakeholders can make informed decisions
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or a related function
- Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, observability, or another high-growth technology environment
- Strong Salesforce knowledge, including CRM processes, reporting, dashboards, and data quality practices
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and sales performance reviews.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
- Strong business partnering, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority
- Experience with business intelligence and applying generative AI, automation technologies, and modern productivity tools to support analysis, problem-solving, and day-to-day business operations
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
