Overview of the role:
As Influencer Director, you will play a defining role in shaping our influencer marketing vision, inspiring a high-performing team, and driving both growth and innovation across the business. You’ll lead the charge on revenue generation and new business development, owning the P&L for your division and ensuring excellence in delivery across every client engagement.
As a trusted advisor to senior clients, you’ll translate bold ambitions into powerful, results-driven influencer strategies that deliver real business impact and cultural relevance.
This is a senior leadership position for a visionary strategist — someone with exceptional commercial acumen, creative instinct, and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving creator economy. You’ll oversee and elevate the full lifecycle of campaigns, from insight-led strategy and concept development through to flawless execution and meaningful measurement.
You’ll foster a culture of excellence and innovation, ensuring every initiative is data-informed, culturally attuned, and executed to the highest standard — consistently exceeding client expectations and cementing our reputation as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and evolve our influencer marketing vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall agency objectives and market trends.
• Revenue & P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of your team's/division's revenue targets, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability. Identify and implement strategies to maximize financial performance and drive sustainable growth.
• New Business Development: Actively lead new business efforts, identifying prospective clients, developing compelling proposals, and successfully pitching for new accounts. Represent the agency as a thought leader at industry events and conferences.
• Client Growth & Retention: Cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and long-term strategic partnerships that drive increased revenue.
• Best-in-Class Delivery: Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional, high-impact influencer campaigns across all client accounts. Establish and uphold rigorous quality control standards, process efficiencies, and performance benchmarks.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, develop, and empower a high-performing team of influencer marketing specialists. Foster an environment of continuous learning, innovation, accountability, and career growth.
• Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of the creator economy, identifying emerging trends, platforms, and technologies. Drive innovation in our offerings and position the agency as a leader in the space.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Champion a data-first approach to strategy, execution, and reporting, ensuring all campaigns are optimized for maximum ROI and client impact.
Experience:
• 8+ years of progressive experience in influencer marketing and social.
• Proven track record of managing a P&L, achieving revenue targets, and driving significant new business growth.
• Extensive experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing large-scale, multi-platform influencer campaigns for diverse clients. Skills:
• Exceptional business development, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Deep understanding of financial metrics and P&L management.
• Master-level knowledge of the global creator economy, platform nuances, content strategies, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies persuasively to C-suite clients and internal stakeholders.
• Expert in data analysis, ROI measurement, and translating insights into actionable strategies. Proficient with influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong project management skills, with a focus on process optimization, quality assurance, and risk management. Key Attributes:
