An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 3–5 PQE Associate to join a highly regarded Insurance Litigation team in Sydney.

Working closely with leading partners in the field, you’ll advise major insurers across a broad range of Professional Indemnity and General Liability matters. This role offers strong exposure to complex disputes, high-quality work, and the chance to develop your litigation expertise within a well-established and respected team.


The Role

You’ll be involved in a range of litigation responsibilities including managing files, reviewing evidence, preparing advice on indemnity, liability and quantum, drafting court documents and correspondence, briefing counsel and experts, and assisting with court proceedings. You’ll also work closely with clients and contribute to strategic case management across a busy and varied practice.


About You

  • 3–5 years’ PQE with experience in professional indemnity or insurance litigation
  • Strong analytical, research and drafting skills
  • Experience managing files and meeting court deadlines
  • Confident communicator with a strong client-service focus
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
