We are currently seeking a highly motivated person as an Internal Auditor within the Australian arm of our Global Internal Audit team. Based at our head office in Barangaroo, you will join a dedicated, experienced and multi-disciplined team, working closely with peers to provide independent, objective assurance that is designed to add value and improve Lendlease operations.

This role presents a unique opportunity for anyone focussed on their own development who is seeking exposure to a wide range of experiences and activities across Lendlease. The Internal Audit team deals with all components of Lendlease’s operations including areas such as the review of Business Units including their projects and developments, integrity reviews, new business initiatives or strategy, system implementations or upgrades. One day you could be out on a job site, the next day you may be meeting with Business Units Leaders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you:

  •  Work with the Internal Audit Team to plan, develop and execute risk-based audits
    across the Australian business.

  • Maximise the impact of your audit work through an understanding of the major
strategic, regulatory, financial, operational and health & safety risks facing LL.

  • Assisting the Internal Audit Team to produce quality audit reports and discuss with
management audit insights, findings and actions.

  • Assist with the preparation of reporting to the Lendlease Board’s Audit Committee.
Identify and escalate business critical issues in a timely manner.

  • Assist with reviews for business integrity matters where more ‘investigative
    techniques’ are required.

  • Assist Regional Internal Audit Team in developing and implementing strategic
initiatives, including development of your own data analytic skills and experience.

To see success in this role, you will benefit from bringing a curious and enquiring mind, with a hunger to learn more about the Lendlease businesses.  You will work closely within the team to develop a diverse range of experience while learning to confidently deal with a variety of stakeholders, including engagement with senior level executives on a day-to-day basis. A passion for learning about the Lendlease business will pave the way for your success.

At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm. We remain committed to supporting under-represented groups and providing a wide range of inclusion initiatives, so that everyone is supported to thrive.

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is reflected in our Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan, our Bronze Award with the Australian Workplace Equality Index by Pride in Diversity, and our generous parental leave policy of 26 weeks to any parent regardless of gender.

Lendlease welcomes applicants regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, people with a disability, sexual orientation, or life stage. If you do not meet all the criteria or require adjustments to proceed with your application, we encourage you to reach out for a further discussion.
