LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.

With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.

In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.

As an Investment Fund Analyst, you’ll play a critical role within a high-performing Investment Product & Services team, helping to research, evaluate and deliver best-in-class managed investment solutions across public and private markets. Working closely with senior investment professionals and the Investment Committee, you’ll gain exposure to sophisticated portfolio construction and global investment strategies, while contributing to innovative areas such as sustainable investing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven analyst who wants to deepen their investment expertise, work alongside industry leaders, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse fund manager reports, market trends and portfolio positioning to identify risks, opportunities and performance drivers

  • Prepare investment analysis and recommendations for internal committees, including quarterly and annual reviews

  • Partner with senior analysts and portfolio specialists to support portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions

  • Assist in developing client-facing investment materials and insights to support advisers and client conversations

  • Engage with fund managers, maintain due diligence notes, and contribute to robust investment processes

  • Support operational processes including fund administration, reporting, and maintaining data integrity

  • Contribute to the growth of sustainable investment offerings and innovative investment solutions

  • Collaborate with advisers to deliver actionable investment ideas and support client engagement initiatives

About You

You’re an analytical thinker with a passion for investments and a desire to grow your career in a high-calibre environment.

You will bring:

  • 4–5 years’ experience in investment analysis, funds management, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and market insights

  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and collaborate across teams

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with resilience and curiosity

  • A degree in Finance, Commerce or Business (RG146 or willingness to obtain)

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Collaborate with experienced investment professionals and gain exposure to sophisticated, global investment strategies, learning from industry leaders

  • Contribute directly to investment decisions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, playing a meaningful role in portfolio outcomes

  • Be part of a forward-thinking team exploring sustainable investing and evolving market opportunities, with the backing of a global organisation and strong local presence
