Reporting to the Head of Investment Relations & ESG Communications, the Investment Relations Lead will play an important role in positioning the fund as a global leader in funds management, investment performance and portfolio activity. 


Your New Role 

The Investment Relations Lead will also play a role in ensuring the Fund’s reputation is appropriately considered in investment decision making and ongoing investment ownership, and the Fund’s reputation as an investor is appropriately managed.

 

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake stakeholder identification and mapping for new investment opportunities.

  • Oversight and reporting of Fund sustainability initiatives and activity.

  • Seek out and implement AI opportunities for enhancing activity from within Investment Relations & ESG communications.

  • Support the development of proactive and reactive stakeholder management plans inclusive of advising Executive and investment Committee regarding acquisition, ownership and divestment.

  • Support transaction activity and meet governance requirements through development of rep risk recommendations for relevant decision-making governance forums.

  • Develop communications narratives and implementation plans to support investment activity and manage issues/events arising in the investment program.

  • Identify and engage with internal and external delivery partners to enable team activity and execution.

  • Contribute to simplification program working within the Strategy and Corporate Affairs (SCA) Domain and across teams to confidently engage with their stakeholders on the Fund’s investment strategy and program.

  • Engage stakeholders from across the investment and member domains, manage expectations and ensure internal and external alignment of activity. 

 

What You’ll Need   

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, communications, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years’ Investor Relations, Communications and/or Stakeholder Management experience with a large private markets investor preferably in the infrastructure, real estate, or private equity sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to support the development of communications plans to support transaction activity and emerging reputation issues.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management expertise.

  • Ability to support the development and execution of complex stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with investment teams to ensure open lines of communication and proactive engagement on reputation issues.
