As an Iteration Manager at Versent, you’ll lead end-to-end agile delivery across one or more client engagements creating the conditions for high-performing teams to plan, execute, and continuously improve. You’ll facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to shape and prioritise the backlog, and provide clear visibility of progress, velocity, risks, and team health. Working at the intersection of delivery and cloud operations, you’ll factor in service dependencies and operational constraints to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved while maintaining service continuity.
Skills and Responsibilities :
Agile Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end agile delivery for one or more Versent client engagements, ensuring the team operates effectively within a scrum or agile framework.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews and backlog refinement.
- Maintain a clear and prioritised backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner and client stakeholders.
- Track and report on delivery progress, velocity and team health, taking corrective action as required.
- Understand and factor in cloud operational constraints, service dependencies and environment health when planning and managing delivery iterations.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as the primary delivery point of contact for client stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication on progress, risks and decisions.
- Manage escalations and impediments that impact delivery outcomes.
- Liaise with cloud operations and service management teams to communicate delivery impacts, coordinate incident response, and ensure service continuity is maintained across engagements.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with client and internal teams to align on priorities and resolve delivery challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across client organisations and internal Versent teams.
Team Capability & Agile Maturity
- Coach and guide team members in Agile principles, practices and ceremonies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety and self-organisation within the delivery team.
- Identify and remove barriers or impediments preventing the team from achieving their objectives.
- Support the team in adopting and maturing agile practices over the course of the engagement.
- Build team awareness of cloud operations principles and service management practices, enabling the team to make informed decisions around deployment, incident handling and service health.
Governance & Reporting
- Implement and execute delivery policies aligned to Versent and client strategic plans.
- Maintain delivery artefacts including sprint plans, risk registers, status reports and retrospective outputs.
- Contribute to Versent's delivery practice standards, templates and IP.
- Ensure quality management practices are applied consistently across the delivery team.
- Maintain awareness of cloud service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and ensure delivery activities align with change, incident and release management processes where applicable.
