The Opportunity:

The Integrated Work Package (IWP) Program Lead will manage the delivery of an outcomes- based scope for the identified projects in support of our Defence client.

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for all phases of planning and execution projects within the allocated program or portfolio of projects.

You will be KBR’s onsite SME for the client and be able to identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, growth of the account and ensure the successful delivery of multiple, concurrent projects.

Reporting into the Account Director, this role has responsibility for resource planning and management, reporting as well as people and team leadership.
This role can be based out of either Brisbane or Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, coordinate, and control outcome-based delivery projects and programs in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
  • Responsibility for senior contact and communication with the client and relevant stakeholders and focuses on ensuring success of project delivery, while balancing KBR commercial objectives.
  • Provide Program Management and reports to the Account Director
  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders at all levels including headquarter elements and other dependent projects
  • Apply an understanding of the ecosystem into which the program is being delivered to identify and lead change, irrespective of scope, to achieve overall outcomes
  • Undertake Project Management Strategy and Analysis to establish future documentation and plans to support the capability and deliver outcomes to the client

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • Relevant degree qualifications
  • Exceptional project and program management experience, with a particular focus on outcomes delivery
  • Project/Contract management or professional consulting experience
  • Strong client and staff engagement, relationship and communications skills
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Defence Industry experience
  • Ability to access ITAR material

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
