The Opportunity:
Klen International, part of Avantor, is looking for a dedicated and high energy Sales Representative to maintain and advance our sales activities, including sales order input and delivery coordination, and sales lead generation through to closing. You will work within an established and supportive sales team to develop expertise in our specialized product offering for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and achieving long-term account goals in line with company business strategy. This role will be a full-time position based in Neerabup, WA. If you have a passion for science and enjoy interacting with professionals both as clients and peers – let’s talk!
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in science preferred
- Preference for 1-3+ years sales experience in a dynamic sales environment where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision and there is a solution-based approach. Training will be provided.
- Business to Business sales experience preferred. Training will be provided.
- Fluently bilingual in any other language is an asset
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills, routinely interacting with customers, manufacturers, and staff
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and role
- Ability to understand individual customer operations
- Willingness to travel to customer locations – eventually globally
- Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

- Build and sustain relationships with international customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Learn to sell consultatively, detailing products, determining customer needs and requirements, and making recommendations to both prospects and customers of the various solutions KLEN can offer their business.
- Navigate a cyclical market with limited competition but with a new promising competing technology.
- Prospect and establish new customers by managing a sales pipeline and developing, delivering proposals to customers by illustrating KLEN/Avantor’s value proposition.
- Work with Sales and Corporate Management to develop strategic territory business plans, provide proposals and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth.
- Leverage available resources to effectively assist with company marketing plan, strategies and sales processes.
