Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Key Account Manager - Corporate & Government, Pacific , based in Sydney or Melbourne. This role offers the chance to impact Accor’s success by managing a high-value portfolio of key accounts across the Corporate & Government segments. You will be instrumental in executing Accor’s strategic sales vision, driving substantial growth, leveraging established client relationships, forging new business opportunities, and expanding market share across the Pacific region. This position is perfect for a driven professional looking to elevate their career within a leading global hospitality group.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

This role offers a dynamic challenge where you will:

  • Shape Strategy: Develop and execute impactful strategic account plans for your assigned portfolio, directly contributing to regional and national objectives.
  • Engage Strategically: Build and nurture enduring relationships with top-tier clients in the Corporate & Government sectors, ensuring their needs are met and fostering significant business growth.
  • Drive Expansion: Proactively identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within existing accounts and selected prospects, maximising Accor sales.
  • Ensure Performance: Expertly manage your key account portfolio, guaranteeing all contractual obligations are exceeded and performance targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with national and regional teams to implement and refine innovative strategies that boost market share and drive exceptional performance across all segments.
  • Leverage Insights: Utilise Accor’s advanced tools and systems to manage accounts, track performance, and generate actionable insights that optimise business opportunities and fuel growth.

Qualifications

What we need from you

To thrive in this influential role, you will bring:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of essential, relevant sales experience, with a proven track record in key account management and revenue generation within the Corporate and Government sectors.
  • Proven Impact: Demonstrated ability to manage, grow, and significantly contribute to a diverse hotel portfolio.
  • Drive & Collaboration: A self-motivated, target-driven individual with exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities; a team player who excels in a goal-oriented, high-performance environment.
  • Strategic Acumen: A natural strategic mindset to identify, create, and act decisively on growth opportunities.
  • Master Negotiator: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, capable of building consensus and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial Expertise: Solid commercial acumen, focused on driving revenue, ROI, and making data-driven decisions that propel business success.
