At Perpetual Asset Management, we work closely with advisers to help deliver long‑term outcomes for clients. We’re looking for a Private Wealth Distribution professional to help grow our presence across NSW, working with Investment Advisers to expand funds under management and deepen strategic relationships.

This role is well suited to someone with strong private wealth experience who enjoys building trusted partnerships, executing clear sales strategies, and working closely with investment and internal stakeholder teams.

About the Role

you will be responsible for driving growth across agreed Private Wealth accounts, primarily with Investment Advisers based in NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive net flows and FUM growth across agreed NSW private wealth accounts

  • Build and execute strategic account plans (activity, pipeline, conversion and retention)

  • Run a bottom-up Investment Adviser engagement strategy (segmentation, cadence, prioritisation)

  • Lead adviser conversations from first meeting through to commitment and ongoing growth

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality account management

  • Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders (platforms, associations, industry partners)

  • Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, risk awareness and compliance

  • Champion continuous improvement and operational discipline in how the channel operates

About you

You’ll bring a solid background in financial services distribution, with a strong understanding of private wealth and adviser channels.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated success in a sales or distribution role within financial services, ideally across private wealth or adviser channels

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and wealth management, including Private Wealth

  • Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to negotiate, influence and close opportunities

  • Confidence presenting investment solutions, market insights and value propositions in a way that resonates with advisers

  • A structured, self‑led approach to running your territory - planning activity, prioritising accounts and managing pipeline

  • Sound judgment and professionalism, with a strong commitment to ethical conduct, risk awareness and compliance

  • Strong account management capability

  • Commercial acumen, including negotiation and influencing skills
