We’re seeking a driven, dynamic and strategic individual to join our Account Management function as a Key Account Manager. This role will drive growth and expansion within our largest accounts, ensuring we’re delivering value and executing on business metrics our customers are focused on. You will partner closely with key customers and internal stakeholders to ensure value is realized and our customers are set up for continued success through the Neara platform.
To succeed in this role, you will need a consultative mindset, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the utilities industry. You will also need to have a proven track record of commercial execution across large, multi year, multi faceted contracts.

What You'll Do
Develop deep expertise and understanding of Neara’s platform, value proposition and GTM strategy
Deliver and implement expansion plans for our largest accounts
Develop pipeline associated with delivering expansion goals
Identify new workflow improvements and use case opportunities within key accounts
Build and maintain ongoing customer relationships to accurately forecast future opportunities and uncover potential problems
Build a deep knowledge of assigned accounts and understand their projected top priorities
Develop processes to assist in scaling the Account Management function and driving growth among clients
Ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction and to drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Manage current accounts on multi-year contracts to ensure customer value realization
Collaborate with Customer Success and Customer Value Architects, and Product team on overall account strategy and execution of strategy
Co-Present with Utilities at key conferences and events
Who You Are
A proven track record of expanding enterprise level accounts
A background consulting in a tech enabled environment or strategic sales
Experience working with the utilities sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build executive level relationships
Driven to succeed with a continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge of B2B sales strategies and the ability to build strong business relationships
