The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 
As a L2 Support Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provide technical support for all 3M HIS products for Revenue Cycle Management and Clinical Productivity Solutions
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful support and usage of our solutions
  • Collaborate with third party vendors to successfully support the integration of our products with other systems
  • Contribute to and support the business unit to achieve goals and objectives of the HIS Division’s Business plan
  • Participate with a team of professionals in providing a high level of cohesive technical service in the above areas
  • Participate in functional and user acceptance testing
  • Understanding customer needs and ensuring client success through impactful presentations/guides/onsite meetings

Your Skills and Expertise 

  • Experience communicating at C Suite level down to front line customers.
  • Effective listening, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict with a problem solving mindset and a customer-oriented approach
  • System operations, including monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in front of a large audience.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of the overall organisation
  • Capable of maintaining effective and professional customer relations in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Analytical aptitude and ability to interpret data for customer reporting and customer presentations.
  • Ability to work independently within a team of professionals.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and communicate same to clients of various technical skill levels
  • Ability to follow through on problems and issues, creating procedures and tools to prevent future problems
  • The IT Support Engineer attends kick-off meetings for new projects and stays involved with the Implementation process to familiarise themselves with the stakeholders, solution footprint and project dynamics, as well as to get themselves introduced to the customer.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND at least two (2) years of technical support or technical implementation experience

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED or other qualification in IT related field AND three (3) years technical support or technical implementation experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of Technical Support experience or technical implementation in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Industry knowledge of health care and/or health information systems (HIS) or health information management (HIM)

Work location:

  • Hybrid

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
