About the Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), you will provide maintenance and logistics support to fixed wing aircraft and associated support equipment, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Manual (MOM), approved engineering procedures, and applicable Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining airworthiness, safety and operational availability of the fleet. This role is based at our Mascot depot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Certify aircraft maintenance within CASA Part 66 licence privileges
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled (AOG) maintenance
  • Plan maintenance tasks including parts, tooling, GSE and manpower
  • Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects
  • Supervise and mentor engineers and apprentices
  • Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance documentation
  • Conduct flight line duties including configuration, ranging and recovery
  • Support deployed operations and fly-away kit preparation
  • Ensure compliance with CASA, HSSEQ and organisational procedures
  • Monitor calibration, tooling, and shelf-life requirement

About You

CASA Part 66 Licence (B1.1 Mechanical or B2 Avionics)

  • Experience in fixed wing aircraft maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance practices
  • Ability to certify maintenance and supervise personnel
  • Strong safety focus and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience with King Air or PC-24 aircraft
  • Familiarity with IAS or Gannet systems
  • Operational or EMS aviation experience

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work shifts, weekends and after-hours
  • Willingness to travel to other bases
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
