We're seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping innovative solutions that improve customer experiences, operational performance and commercial outcomes across our business.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Business Analysts while partnering with senior stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver strategic initiatives that create real business value.

About the Role

As the Lead Business Analyst - Data, AI & Integration, you will act as the bridge between business leaders and technology teams, translating opportunities and challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.

You'll provide leadership across business analysis activities, guide discovery and solution design, and help shape the roadmap for data, AI, automation and integration initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll ensure solutions are aligned to strategic priorities and support sustainable business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop other Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality analysis and delivery outcomes.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for data, AI, automation and process improvement.

  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, define business problems and develop solution options.

  • Lead current-state and future-state process analysis and documentation activities.

  • Identify and assess AI and automation opportunities, including business value, risks and operational readiness.

  • Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery-ready artefacts.

  • Collaborate with Architecture, Delivery, Data, AI and Integration teams to design practical and scalable solutions.

  • Manage competing priorities and BA resources across strategic projects, operational initiatives and business-as-usual activities.

  • Champion continuous improvement and uplift business analysis practices across the function.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders exploring new technologies and ways of working.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience leading business analysis activities within complex technology, digital, data or transformation environments.

  • Demonstrated experience managing Business Analysts and coordinating work across multiple initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, business process improvement and solution design.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into practical outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and workshop leadership capabilities.

  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering measurable business value.

  • An understanding of project financials

  • Lean Six Sigma certification - nice to have
