Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernisation programs: run discovery and architecture reviews, lead client workshops, manage delivery teams and stakeholder relationships, mentor consultants, perform hands-on implementation (IaC, automation, migrations), and contribute to scoping, proposals, and reusable IP.
Cevo helps organisations build the capability for continuous evolution, turning transformation from a one-off program into a lasting ability to adapt, innovate and deliver better outcomes. As an Australian-owned, born in the cloud, AWS Premier Consulting Partner, we design and deliver modern cloud platforms, unlock data for insight and apply AI where it creates real value, while empowering teams so capability and impact extend well beyond each engagement. With onshore teams across Australia, we’ve partnered with more than 200 organisations across start-ups, commercial, enterprise and government.
Who are you?
You're a seasoned technical consultant who's ready to lead, not just deliver. You've run migration programs end to end, owned the client relationship and guided delivery teams through complex transformation work. You bring deep AWS expertise, the consulting instincts to manage stakeholders at every level, and the leadership presence to mentor others while staying hands-on yourself. You've led large-scale migrations, modernised legacy platforms, and know your way around disaster recovery, cost optimisation, and AI-driven delivery.
What you'll do
- Leading the execution of migration and modernisation programs
- Leading workshops and delivery sessions with clients and internal teams
- Day-to-day leadership of delivery teams and the primary client relationship
- Coaching for Senior Consultants and contributions to Cevo's reusable IP
- End-to-end delivery for client engagements: scope, timeline, quality
- Migration assessments, discovery workshops, and architecture reviews that shape transformation roadmaps
- Hands-on technical work alongside strategic guidance
- Input into scoping, estimating, and proposals with the Growth team
What you'll bring
- Extensive hands-on AWS experience: landing zones, multi-account architecture, networking, and migration tooling (MGN, DMS, AWS Transform)
- Proven consulting leadership experience: workshops, stakeholder management, C-level reporting
- Experience running Well-Architected Framework reviews and cloud maturity assessments
- Strong grasp of modernisation patterns: containerisation, serverless, database decomposition
- IaC fluency (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) and CI/CD experience
- Scripting skills (Python/bash) for automation
- Comfort with AI-assisted and agentic delivery tools (Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot)
- AWS Solution Architect Professional/Specialty (a strong plus)
- FinOps experience is highly regarded
If you want to combine consulting, leadership, and hands-on cloud expertise to help clients genuinely transform their platforms, this is your next role.
