Your New Role
The Lead Executive Assistant plays an integral and senior role supporting the CEO, COO, and members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). As a trusted operational partner, you will provide high‑quality executive, administrative and strategic support that enables clarity, efficiency, and seamless coordination across the organisation. You’ll drive high standards of executive support delivery, lead and develop a team of Executive Assistants/Support staff, and ensure the smooth running of key business operations, communications, and decision‑making rhythms.
Key responsibilities include:
Executive Partnership & Strategic Support
Providing senior‑level support to the CEO, COO and ELT, including:
· Complex calendar and email management
· Strategic prioritisation and time optimisation
· Preparation of presentations, board/ELT papers, reports and correspondence
· Monitoring, reporting and driving progress on ELT/SLT OKRs
· Time and workflow optimisation
· Acting as a trusted liaison between senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders
· Ensuring executive communications are professional, timely, and aligned with organisational messaging
· Anticipating business rhythms, pressure points and stakeholder needs to proactively manage competing priorities
Team Leadership & Operational Oversight
· Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Executive Assistants/Support staff
· Monitoring team workload to ensure balanced, effective executive support coverage
· Establishing service standards, workflows and best‑practice processes for executive support
· Providing coaching, feedback and performance management
· Driving continuous improvement in administrative systems, documentation and executive processes

About You
You’re an experienced and highly capable Executive Assistant with a background in financial services, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and knows how to operate as a strategic partner to senior executives. You balance exceptional organisational skills with emotional intelligence, discretion, and an ability to anticipate needs before they arise. You’re energised by building systems, improving processes, and leading others to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Ideally, you bring:
· 7+ years’ experience providing senior executive support, preferably in financial services or an ASX‑listed environment
· Experience supporting a CEO, COO, CFO - or other senior executives
· Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring executive support team members
· A track record of establishing operational excellence within the support function
· Proven ability to understand business operations and rhythms and apply them proactively when managing work priorities and multiple stakeholders
· Balancing support for Senior Executives with the leadership of a team of Executive Assistants
· High proficiency with Office 365 and modern productivity tools
· Exceptional communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills
