Job DescriptionWe’re looking for an experienced Lead System Analyst to drive solution design, translate business needs into technical outcomes, and lead the delivery of high-quality ICT solutions within a complex environment.
This is a senior role offering a high degree of autonomy, where you’ll influence strategy, lead innovation, and shape the future direction of enterprise systems.
As a Lead System Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business and technology. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering scalable solutions, leading system analysis activities, and ensuring applications align with strategic objectives.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll contribute to ICT strategy, oversee solution delivery, and drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
- Lead and oversee a team, managing priorities, performance, and workflow
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with architecture standards
- Drive solution design and delivery for new and existing ICT applications
- Develop and execute solution strategies to support product and service expansion
- Ensure systems meet business and user requirements, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Analyse existing applications and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead innovation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Align solution delivery with broader business and ICT strategies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and partner agencies
- Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and performance tracking
- Strong experience in system analysis and solution design
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with tools such as:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- SharePoint
- JIRA
- HP ALM
- HP Content Manager
- Experience in business process modelling (AS-IS / TO-BE)
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in diagnosing and resolving production issues
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline
