Together with passionate people from all over the world, you’ll test new ideas, learn and grow, and unlock a brighter, more exciting future.

Join us to create a career worth celebrating.

About the Function:

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.

With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.

It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.

About the Role:

Join Diageo as a Learning & Capability Manager and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable capability and behavioural uplift across our Huntingwood and Bundaberg sites. This role is critical in helping frontline leaders and operational teams build the skills, standards and ways of working required to deliver operational excellence.

Working closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help shape and embed a high-performance learning culture across our manufacturing operations. Your work will range from coaching frontline leaders on the floor and developing Production Team Leaders, through to building leadership pipelines, refining capability frameworks, strengthening core operational processes and benchmarking against world-class organisations.

We are looking for someone who combines practical operational credibility with strong learning and capability expertise — someone equally comfortable influencing senior stakeholders as they are working alongside frontline teams to drive real behavioural change and performance outcomes.

The role will be based in Huntingwood, Australia.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the manufacturing capability roadmap, enhancing leadership capability, talent pipelines, systems, and processes. Work closely with site leadership and Global Capability Teams to define and deliver Training & Development plans aligned with Diageo’s business and capability strategy.

  • Implement site training and development plans, including skills matrix management, to support our world-class manufacturing excellence goals. This includes Manufacturing, Governance, Equipment Capability, and Leadership Training & Development for all levels.

  • Manage the Training & Development budget, prepare detailed training analysis, and ensure cost-effective sourcing, delivery, recording, and evaluation of all training activities.

  • Represent supply in implementing central initiatives such as expectancy profiles and standards development programs.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a Learning & Capability role or operational leadership within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify capability gaps and drive sustainable change.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering programs in both favorable and challenging conditions, using cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent integration and influencing skills, with a delivery-focused approach and the ability to engage managers and senior leaders.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and support talent at all levels.

  • Experience with operational excellence and lean tools.

  • Familiarity with program or change management processes, including scoping, planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Understanding of process documentation, process councils, and enterprise process governance frameworks.

  • Selected candidate must be willing to be based in Huntingwood, Australia.

Flexible Working:

Flexibility is key to our success. Talk to us about what flexibility means to you, so that you’re supported to manage your wellbeing and balance your priorities from day one.

Rewards & Benefits:

At Diageo, we offer more than just a role— we offer an environment where you can thrive, grow and be recognised for your impact.

  • Competitive reward – Market-leading salary, performance-driven bonus and industry perks

  • Flexible ways of working – Hybrid working with no set office days, empowering you to balance work and life in a way that works for you

Commitment to Inclusion & Diversity:

Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere. And creating an inclusive culture, where everyone feels valued and that they can belong, is a crucial part of this.

We embrace diversity in the broadest possible sense. This means that you’ll be welcomed and celebrated for who you are just by being you. You’ll be part of and help build and champion an inclusive culture that celebrates people of different gender, ethnicity, ability, age, sexual orientation, social class, educational backgrounds, experiences, mindsets, and more.

Our ambition is to create the best performing, most trusted and respected consumer products companies in the world. Join us and help transform our business as we take our brands to new heights and build new ones as part of shaping the next generation of celebrations for consumers around the world.
