About the role

We are looking for a Lifecycle Manager to join our Growth team in Sydney.

Growth at Stake is about more than acquiring customers. We build the systems that help people get started with confidence, stay engaged and continue growing alongside us. Working across Product, Engineering, AI, Creative, Performance Marketing and Data, we combine insight, experimentation and technology to create experiences that feel timely, relevant and genuinely valuable.

As our Lifecycle Manager, you'll own how we engage customers throughout their journey. You'll identify the moments that matter, uncover opportunities hidden in customer behaviour and build personalised experiences that deepen engagement and strengthen long-term retention. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex growth problems, measuring what matters and continuously improving how customers experience Stake.

You'll have the autonomy to shape our lifecycle strategy while working alongside some of the sharpest product, growth and engineering minds in the business. We work hybrid spending 3 days in our beautiful, dog-friendly Sydney office.

What success looks like
  • Built a lifecycle strategy that delivers connected, personalised customer journeys across activation, engagement, retention and re-engagement.
  • Developed a deep understanding of customer behaviour, turning data and insight into experiences that create measurable customer and business impact.
  • Built segmentation and personalisation capabilities that help every customer receive more relevant, timely and valuable communications.
  • Established a culture of experimentation, continuously improving messaging, timing, channels and customer journeys through rigorous testing.
  • Partnered across Growth, Product, Engineering and Data to identify high-impact opportunities and turn customer friction into meaningful growth.
  • Created clear measurement frameworks that connect lifecycle initiatives to engagement, retention and long-term customer value.
  • Influenced how Stake thinks about growth, helping lifecycle become a core capability across product development and customer experience.
  • Raised the bar for lifecycle craft through thoughtful execution, strong judgement and relentless focus on outcomes.
You'll thrive here if…
  • You've built your craft in lifecycle, CRM or customer growth and know how to create experiences that strengthen engagement, retention and customer lifetime value.
  • You think in systems rather than campaigns, connecting customer behaviour into end-to-end journeys that continuously improve.
  • You're naturally curious. You combine quantitative data with customer insight to understand what people do and why they do it.
  • Experimentation shapes how you work. You develop hypotheses, measure outcomes and use what you learn to make every iteration stronger.
  • You enjoy taking ownership from strategy through execution, bringing people together to solve meaningful customer problems.
  • You communicate clearly, translating customer behaviour and performance data into decisions that move the business forward.
Bonus if you've ever
  • Built lifecycle programs within a fast-growing consumer, fintech or technology business.
  • Worked hands-on with modern customer engagement, personalisation or experimentation platforms.
  • Partnered closely with Product and Engineering to build lifecycle experiences directly into digital products.
  • Used AI and automation to deliver more personalised customer experiences at scale.
