The Opportunity
Working within the Student Success Directorate as part of the Strategy and Planning Portfolio, and reporting directly to the Director, Student Success, you will:

  • lead, mentor, and develop administrative teams to deliver efficient, consistent, student‑centred services.
  • oversee administrative operations across education, student, and corporate functions to meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • drive continuous improvement through review and enhancement of administrative systems, workflows, and processes.
  • support the Director with workforce planning, budgeting, reporting, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • ensure the integrity and accuracy of program, subject, and student administration data across University systems.
  • provide expert advice, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, including representation on committees and contribution to governance and planning activities.

Who We're Looking For
You are:

  • an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing and developing professional teams within higher education or similar environments.
  • knowledgeable in student and academic administration, including systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • experienced in overseeing program and subject documentation, with a strong focus on data integrity and governance.
  • highly analytical problem solver with well‑developed reporting capabilities, able to navigate complex environments.
  • an effective communicator and relationship builder, committed to stakeholder engagement, service excellence, continuous improvement, and positive student outcomes.

 

Working with Children Check
As this position is expected to involve direct or unsupervised contact with children, and in accordance with legislative requirements, it is a mandatory requirement to obtain and maintain a “NSW Working with Children Check Clearance”. 

The location

This position will be based at our Parramatta City campus, although travel to other campuses may be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.

Remuneration Package: Professional Staff Level 8 $129,988 p.a. (comprising Salary of $114,349 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with the College Enterprise Agreement.
