At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

About the role

Snowflake is experiencing rapid growth across Australia, and we are scaling our Commercial team to accelerate it. We are looking for a District Manager to lead our Commercial Acquisition team - a quota-carrying, front-line leadership role focused on winning net-new customers for Snowflake in the Australian Commercial segment.

You will lead a team of Account Executives to build pipeline, land new logos, and set the foundation for long-term consumption growth. This is a builder's role for a leader who thrives on new-business momentum, coaches with discipline, and embodies Snowflake's values while creating an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing culture.

What You Will Own

  • The net-new logo acquisition number for the Australia Commercial segment, including forecast accuracy and consistent execution against plan.

  • A team of Commercial Acquisition Account Executives - hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing them into high-performing revenue drivers.

  • A repeatable pipeline-generation engine, built in close partnership with Sales Development, Marketing and Partners/Alliances.

  • Territory and account strategy: defining ideal customer profile, prioritising whitespace, and driving disciplined account planning.

  • Cross-functional orchestration with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and the partner ecosystem to land and expand new customers.

  • A team culture grounded in Snowflake's Core Values, with strong deal inspection, urgency, and deal control.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • A proven track record leading acquisition / new-business sales teams (distinct from pure expansion) to consistent over-achievement.

  • The ability to coach AEs on selling business value using a repeatable process, and on creating urgency and deal control.

  • Experience guiding AEs through complex commercial and legal negotiations with procurement, legal, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience scaling high velocity sales businesses with channel partners

  • Strategic territory development and data-driven pipeline management.

  • A genuine passion for technology and a customer-first mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and teaching.

  • Strong communication skills and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.

On Day One We Will Expect You to Have

  • 10+ years selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytics, or Applications Software.

  • 5+ years of sales management experience, ideally leading an acquisition / new-logo motion.

  • Experience selling to CEOs, CTOs, and Heads of Product, Engineering, or Data Science.

  • Familiarity with consumption-based / usage commercial models and a land-to-expand philosophy.

  • The ability to coach your team to target and pursue opportunities within our ideal customer profile through a complex sales cycle.

  • The ability to work with Sales Engineering and customers to assess current-state architecture, define migration plans, and build business cases that drive new-logo acquisition.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

Why This Role, Why Now

Australia is one of Snowflake's fastest-growing markets, and the Commercial segment is central to that growth. You will sell an industry-changing, market-defining product at the forefront of the AI Data Cloud - including Cortex AI and our agentic AI capabilities - with the backing of a strong local team and partner ecosystem. It is a rare chance to shape a high-growth acquisition business and build a future for yourself and Snowflake.

Our Commitment

Snowflake is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees; every Snowflake employee helps promote and foster diversity and inclusivity.
