Job Description

Simply put, we do two things at NielsenIQ. We measure performance for our clients, and we use analytics to help our clients grow their business. Measurement and analytics are two separate things, and each is important and valuable on its own. But the connection of the two makes them both even more critical and valuable.

You will MAKE A DIFFERENCE by partnering with our clients and using data to explain what is happening with their brands and what they should do to improve business performance.

Working with both your NielsenIQ colleagues and spending time with clients, you will build partnerships to allow you to understand your client’s needs and requirements. You'll use this knowledge to develop in-depth analyses and create compelling stories that deliver the insight to drive business growth.

Insights Delivery

  • Engage in Joint Business Planning with clients, developing a deep understanding of their commercial priorities, growth objectives, and strategic challenges.
  • Partner with clients to define business questions, refine project objectives, and shape analytical approaches that address key opportunities and risks.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and analyses, translating complex data into clear business implications and actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee the delivery of analytical commitments, proactively managing client expectations and ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Provide strategic perspectives on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics, helping clients anticipate change and identify growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a recognised subject matter expert in key areas such as pricing, promotion, assortment, innovation, or category growth.

Support Account Development via Consultative Selling

  • Build a network of effective and trusted client relationships that drive long-term partnerships, support renewals, maximize business opportunities and strengthen overall account health.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand client value by connecting business challenges with relevant NielsenIQ solutions and expertise.
  • Partner with commercial teams on growth opportunities, contributing client knowledge, strategic perspectives, and industry expertise to support business development conversations.
  • Influence account strategy by identifying emerging client needs and recommending initiatives that deepen engagement and increase business impact.

Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs experience with solid knowledge of specific measurement or data analytics tool
  • Strong consultative skills
  • Deep awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Strong planning and servicing skills
  • Experience working with clients to solve business issues
  • Strong communication/presentation and interpersonal skills.
