About the role and team

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. You’ll build high-performing teams in ambiguous environments, make hard calls under pressure, and carry the weight of decisions that matter. If you lead with clarity, build with heart, and thrive in challenge — this is where you’ll make your mark.

As the Manager of Scaled Insights Solutions, you will lead a global team of analysts driving the strategy behind our most scalable data platforms and measurement science. This isn't just about managing reports; it's about navigating the messy reality of first and third-party data to provide the "Why Uber" rationale to our most critical partners. You will bridge the gap between technical depth and revenue impact, moving with urgency to build quality frameworks and automated insights that power next-generation AI and global advertising systems.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a global team of 8-12 insights analysts across multiple time zones, fostering a culture of ownership, analytical rigor, and continuous professional growth.
  • Architect scalable reporting and quality frameworks that improve visibility into performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency across distributed teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to build governed data pipelines and enhance analytics instrumentation for complex programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in client-facing meetings, translating sophisticated analyses into a compelling storytelling narrative for C-level leadership.
  • Drive the analytics roadmap by identifying opportunities for "model-in-the-loop" labeling, active learning, and large-scale automated insights.
  • Lead Program Health and P&L reviews, challenging assumptions with data-driven evidence to increase operational efficiency and accelerate the revenue cycle.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytics-focused role with a proven ability to extract insights from data and summarize key findings and takeaways.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL with proven ability to write and understand complex queries.
  • Experience working with data visualization and database tools.
  • Strong judgment, critical thinking and decision making skills with the ability to solve complex business problems spanning across functions and teams.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
