Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Manager to establish and lead our DevOps team focused on enterprise business process excellence. This role emphasizes delivering business process automations using UiPath and PowerAutomate technologies, with infrastructure hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of automation and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing DevOps team.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

  • Set clear goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

  • Ensure continuous professional development and training of the team.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement the vision and strategy for business process automation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps and automation.

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions using UiPath and PowerAutomate.

  • Ensure the infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure on AWS.

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying automation scripts and updates.

  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within business operations.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.

Team Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain infrastructure in AWS.

  • Automation Development and Maintenance: Develop automation solutions and provide L2, L3, and L4 support to maintain them.

  • Consulting Services: Provide automation consulting services as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business units regarding automation initiatives.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of total experience in DevOps or technical management roles.

  • 3+ years of people management experience, leading teams and driving performance.

  • Strong expertise in UiPath and PowerAutomate technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud technologies.

  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience engaging with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business process automation within an enterprise environment.

  • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools for proactive system issue detection.

  • Experience with L2, L3, and L4 support models.

  • Familiarity with automation consulting services.

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement technical solutions.

  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
