The Global Mobility Services Tax Compliance team is a part of the KPMG Workforce business in Australia. The team is recruiting an experienced Manager to join their high performing team.

Your Opportunity

Join KPMG’s Global Mobility Services team in Sydney as a Manager, leading Australian individual tax compliance for expatriates, senior executives and cross-border employees. Bring strong Australian tax expertise, client management and team leadership skills, supported by a relevant degree; CA, CPA or CTA qualifications are highly regarded.

  • Managing Australian individual tax return compliance for expatriates, senior executives, and employees operating across borders.
  • Working within our wider Workforce Advisory business on shared clients, alongside a vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset.
  • Continual professional growth and technical development through on-the-job mentoring and structured learning and development programs.

Your Experience

  • Deep understanding of individual income tax compliance, preferably in relation to expatriates, including review of individual tax returns.
  • Strong Australian tax technical knowledge.
  • Proven ability to manage complex compliance engagements and meet strict deadlines, with a focus on delivering a high standard of professional service.
  • Demonstrated capability of thriving in a team environment, including supervising and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

The below qualifications are ideal, not mandatory:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, finance, law, taxation or a related discipline.
  • A recognised professional qualification such as CA, CPA or CTA, or progress towards one, is highly regarded.
  • Relevant postgraduate study in taxation or applied tax is advantageous.
