DP World is seeking an experienced Manager - Network Engineering to lead the design, operation and continuous improvement of our network and network security services across Oceania.  This is a leadership role responsible for defining network strategy, guiding a team of engineers, and ensuring the resilience, security and performance of critical infrastructure that supports our global operations.  

About the role  

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Infrastructure, you will lead a team of network engineers responsible for a complex enterprise environment spanning multiple countries and business operations. 

You will provide technical leadership across network architecture, security, operational support, vendor management and lifecycle planning while driving automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across the environment. 

 Key Accountabilities -

  • Lead the network engineering function across Oceania 
  • Own network architecture, standards, roadmaps and technology direction  
  • Drive reliability, security and availability across critical infrastructure platforms  
  • Lead major incident response, operational governance and risk management activities  
  • Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching, mentoring and leadership  
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Applications, Projects and Business stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes  
  • Drive automation and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. 
  • Manage key technology vendors and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and lifecycle planning 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

You are an experienced network leader who combines strong technical expertise with proven people leadership capabilities. You will bring: 

  • Significant experience leading enterprise network engineering teams  
  • Deep knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network design  
  • Experience with technologies such as FortiGate, F5, Meraki, SD-WAN, VPNs and network security platforms  
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, MPLS, BGP, VPN and modern enterprise networking concepts 
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects and operational environments. 
  • Strong vendor, stakeholder and commercial management skills. 
  • The ability to influence, communicate and lead across both technical and business teams. 
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCSP or CCDP, together with tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline 
  • Experience leading network solutions on big infrastructure projects, start to finish
