Job Description

As a Restructuring advisor (Manager) – you will work on a diverse range of engagements, from providing strategic advice to corporates, Government and regulatory bodies, through to trade on insolvencies. 

You will:

  • collaborate with our team and clients to develop and deliver tailored restructuring and insolvency strategies across a range of industries
  • manage teams across multiple workstreams
  • mentor junior staff, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing
  • analyse financial information, identify issues and prepare recommendations for our clients
  • assist clients to evaluate and understand the performance and position of their business
  • proactively create and implement solutions that are as varied as the challenges our clients face; this may include selling assets and businesses, reorganising capital structures or trading on businesses.

Qualifications

You will be a Professionally Qualified (Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant) with four to six years' experience in restructuring, consulting, audit or professional services more broadly.

You will have experience in restructuring and insolvency and demonstrate a desire to focus your skillset in this area.

You will have:

  • curiosity, empathy, integrity and strong interpersonal qualities
  • a desire to work collaboratively and contribute in a team environment
  • excellent analytical skills supported by an advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (or a willingness to learn)
  • strong written and verbal communication skills that enable you to interact with clients at all levels (up to C-suite) and across our organisation
  • structured problem-solving skills
  • organisation and project management skills and an ability to manage clients and project teams to positively influence change
  • hands-on experience working in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
  • commercial awareness with strong business acumen and advanced emotional intelligence.
