The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Manager, Frameworks, Enterprise Risk, to support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and tools that align with the Bank’s strategic objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Bank’s risk maturity journey and help embed a strong, forward-looking risk culture. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and departments across the Bank, providing expert guidance and practical solutions to enhance operational risk and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the RBA’s enterprise risk management framework.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of risk policies, tools, and methodologies.

  • Assist in preparing risk insights and reports for executive and board-level committees.

  • Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments to ensure frameworks remain current.

  • Collaborate with departments to uplift risk capability and culture.

  • Support the delivery of risk training and capability-building initiatives.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of risk metrics, taxonomies, and scenario testing frameworks.

About You

  • Solid experience (8+ years) in enterprise risk management, preferably in financial services, central banking, or a regulatory environment.

  • Strong understanding of risk governance, frameworks, and compliance practices.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across various levels.

  • Experience supporting the implementation of risk frameworks, policies, and tools.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.

Your Team

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Frameworks, Enterprise Risk, you will be part of the Line 2 Risk Management team. The team plays a critical role in supporting the Bank’s risk and compliance framework, providing oversight and guidance across all business units. You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking.
