Your KBR Opportunity

Based out of our Sydney office, we are looking for a Market Sector Manager in our Transport business to lead and further build our presence in NSW. We have a strategy to build a business that specialises in transport infrastructure and provides a diverse range of solutions that makes us a compelling choice for our clients. The role is a blend of major project leadership and baseload projects providing consulting services through development, planning, design and into delivery. Working closely with our Operations team in delivering key projects for our NSW and national clients, your role will be focused on five main areas. 

  • Devising and implementing a strategy focused on building a diverse, resilient and mature Transport Infrastructure business and capability
  • Work winning through the identification of opportunities and positioning of KBR in line with the strategic objectives
  • Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships, as well as developing new client connections
  • Ensuring project delivery and commercial milestones are met and exceed customer expectations
  • Overall business performance including P&L management and advancing agreed strategy initiatives

What you will need to succeed  

  • You will bring energy and purpose to the role, whilst taking ownership of the NSW transport business
  • It’s likely you will come from a civil engineering background enabling you to provide advice and understanding to your customers
  • You will be strategic, client facing, and understand the drivers behind a successful consulting business
  • You will have superb people skills with the ability to influence and build an inclusive environment where people are valued and develop people in line with their aspirations
  • You will bring good commercial understanding  
  • You will be an authentic and collaborative leader who leads from the front
  • Experience of working with a consulting environment is highly desirable
  • You aren’t afraid to innovate, challenging the norm and contribute to the success of the wider group
