We are looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications Manager to join the Franklin Templeton Australian Marketing team in our Sydney office.

As part of a small, high-performing team, the successful candidate will be versatile with an interest in marketing across all channels. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this dynamic position is responsible for ensuring that we continuously enhance and maintain a competitive, best-in-class set of materials to support the marketing of our growing range of over 30 managed funds in Australia.

How You Will Add Value
  • Lead and execute high-impact sponsored content and paid media campaigns: Develop and execute strategic marketing activities with media agencies and key partners.
  • Shape and own the social media strategy: Develop and implement a thoughtful social media content strategy for the Australian business.
  • Manage public relations activity: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and local PR agency to coordinate and amplify all public relations activities.
  • Craft diverse and engaging marketing communications: Develop a variety of end-to-end communications, including eDMs, digital copy, digital assets, brochures, and effective promotional materials.
  • Drive strategic collaboration and business growth: Work closely with local investment and distribution teams to identify, curate, and deliver relevant, timely, and impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Optimise performance through data-driven insights: Continually assess the results and performance of engagement marketing assets, providing feedback and insights to inform future strategies.
  • Manage external relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media agencies and key partners.
  • Ensure legal and compliance adherence: Work closely with legal and compliance teams for timely sign-off on all marketing materials.
  • Leverage global best practices: Liaise with global marketing teams to integrate and adapt best practices.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 5 years in marketing, ideally within funds management

  • Ability to simplify complex investment concepts into clear content

  • Knowledge of Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and other regulatory standards

  • Experience with public relations would be an advantage

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of martech platforms such as Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, Cvent, ON24 (desirable)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams
