Who is Plenti?

Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans by leveraging its smart technology. Plenti is a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer experiences, Plenti is taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy, and automotive finance markets.

We are a fast moving and ambitious business that seeks to recruit smart and capable people, who can take ownership of their role to help the business thrive. With over 200 people based in Australia, Plenti is small enough so everyone can make a difference in their role, but we have very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.

Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX, with annual revenue of over $200 million and a loan portfolio of over $2 billion.

About the Job

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced B2B marketer with a passion for digital and email marketing, data, and technology. As the owner of Plenti’s broker email marketing channel, you will play a key role in driving engagement, retention, and acquisition through best-practice email marketing strategies, segmentation, and automation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams; to ensure the right content, data and integrations are in place to support campaign effectiveness and performance measurement.

What You’ll Do

Own and optimise the broker email marketing channel, leveraging best practices and data-driven marketing to create high-impact campaigns, automations, and customer journeys.

Develop and refine audience segmentation strategies to ensure personalised and relevant communication across broker segments and online channels (not limited to email).

Plan, execute, and analyse email marketing campaigns using A/B testing, automation, and performance insights to drive continuous improvement.

Work closely with the Product, Technology and Data teams to ensure the right integrations, reporting, and access to insights that support decision-making and ongoing optimisation.

Support broader broker product marketing efforts by contributing to content and brand initiatives, ensuring consistency across website, email, digital campaigns, and other marketing materials.

Assist in organising and delivering broker engagement initiatives, including webinars, events, activations, research, and promotions.

Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Plenti remains innovative and effective in its approach.

What You’ll Need

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or product-focused business.

Hands-on experience using email marketing platforms, including campaign automation, journey development, and audience segmentation.

A data-driven mindset, with experience working with CRM platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Zoho CRM, Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign).

A genuine passion for technology and data, with a proactive approach to analysing and optimising marketing efforts.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Data and Technology, to ensure seamless integrations and accurate reporting.

Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and engaging marketing content.

Strong attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Basic design skills (Adobe, Canva) are a plus; HTML knowledge is highly regarded.

A confident and proactive communicator, eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
