Job Description:

1.0 General:

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role within the Spin Master Australia Marketing Team, supporting Brand Managers across a portfolio of global brands and retail customers. The role is responsible for coordinating the localisation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, maintaining retailer and eCommerce content, supporting commercial planning, and ensuring the successful delivery of product launches and key trade initiatives.

The Marketing Coordinator will also act as the key marketing contact and brand lead on the fifth working day for a Brand Manager returning from maternity leave on a four-day work week arrangement. In this capacity, the coordinator will assume day-to-day brand responsibility, manage approvals and stakeholder communications, and ensure continuity of marketing execution and retailer support.

This role requires strong project management, strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills across local, regional, and global teams. The position contributes directly to brand growth, retailer engagement, and the successful execution of marketing strategies across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

2.0 Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate the submission, localisation, approval, and execution of TV campaigns (TVCs), digital assets, and integrated marketing campaigns to ensure timely market deployment.
Manage and optimise content across Amazon brand stores, retailer websites, and retailer portals to enhance brand visibility, product discoverability, and conversion performance.
Create and optimise Amazon A+ content, enhanced product pages, and digital shelf assets to improve consumer engagement and eCommerce effectiveness.
Support the development of commercial presentations and retailer pitches by integrating pricing updates, POS insights, sales data, and marketing strategies for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain weekly updates of the ALP for AU & NZ markets, ensuring accurate, compliant, and up-to-date product data across all listings and retailer systems.
Maintain and update pricing, line plans, and product databases across AU & NZ markets to support commercial success.
Execute product extensions and new item setup processes for the AU01 market, ensuring accurate activation and availability across systems and retailer channels.
Work closely with the Hong Kong Finance team to track, reconcile, and approve marketing expenditures and invoices in accordance with budget requirements.
Collaborate with international marketing teams to localise global campaigns and content while ensuring alignment with local market requirements and brand guidelines.
Support Trade Marketing initiatives including in-store activations, retailer marketing programs, and major industry events.
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Annual Toy Fair and other trade events, reporting into and working closely with the Senior Brand Manager on event strategy, sample sourcing, asset layouts, and cross-functional coordination.
Act as the primary marketing contact and brand coordinator on the Brand Manager’s non-working day, managing brand priorities, retailer requests, approvals, agency liaison, and campaign continuity.
Coordinate asset delivery, campaign timelines, and deadlines for digital media campaigns in collaboration with media, creative, and retail partners.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of all required marketing, creative, and retailer assets to support retail execution and product launches.
Assist in analysing campaign performance, eCommerce metrics, retailer feedback, and market trends to support future planning and optimisation.
Support annual marketing planning, forecasting, and budget tracking activities in partnership with Brand Managers and senior stakeholders.

3.0 Reporting Lines
​Reports to Marketing Manager with a dotted line to Marketing Director.
Works closely with Senior Brand Manager on Annual Toy Fair planning and key brand initiatives.

4.0 Required Skill Sets:
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Strong organisational, planning, and coordination skills with the ability to independently prioritise competing demands.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams, external agencies, retailers, licensors, and international stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret sales, eCommerce, and campaign performance data.
High level of initiative, accountability, and adaptability with the ability to drive projects through to completion.
Passion for brand marketing, creative excellence, and delivering engaging consumer experiences.
Strong understanding of integrated marketing principles including digital marketing, eCommerce, trade marketing, and campaign execution.

5.0 Required Qualifications & Experience:
3 years of consumer product marketing experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, or other pop culture products
Advanced knowledge of Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, You Tube and Google Analytics
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills
