About the role:

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key driver of JCDecaux’s Product and Brand marketing strategy in Australia. Sitting within the Marketing team and reporting to the Group Manager – Product Strategy and Brand Communications, you will lead integrated marketing initiatives that grow sales revenue and strengthen JCDecaux’s brand in market.

You will plan and deliver end‑to‑end product and brand campaigns, articulate clear and compelling product benefits across all owned channels, and act as a senior leader who helps shape how JCDecaux shows up for advertisers, partners and the broader Out‑of‑Home industry. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you may also supervise a junior marketing coordinator or executive as required.

A Day in the Life:

Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:

  • Lead integrated product and brand marketing programs that drive demand and differentiation for JCDecaux’s products and audience solutions, including planning and executing launches of new products and innovations.
  • Create high‑quality marketing collateral and sales enablement materials (presentations, category deep dives, partnership responses, promotional and digital content), using insights, research and data to strengthen marketing narratives.
  • Champion and ensure consistent execution of the JCDecaux brand across all product strategies, initiatives and channels, working closely with the in‑house design team and external creative, production and print suppliers.
  • Partner with Brand and Comms to deliver external communications and PR, and manage product communications across digital channels including video, website, client newsletters, social media and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Commercial and Asset Operations to understand market demand, product opportunities and audience insights, and translate these into compelling client offers and tender responses.
  • Manage budgets and project delivery for product marketing activity, including spend tracking, supplier invoicing, oversight of delegated work and reporting on the outcomes and effectiveness of key marketing initiatives.

About You:

You’ll be a strategic, data‑confident marketing leader, experienced owning integrated product and brand initiatives end‑to‑end as well as:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, media or a closely related field.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, IT or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships.
  • Practical skills in media research tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of tone and narrative.
  • High level of confidence working with data – able to interpret insights and translate them into compelling marketing stories.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for design and high‑quality output.
  • Strategic thinker who is proactive, motivated and comfortable leading initiatives.

Why join JCDecaux:

At JCDecaux your wellbeing, health, and safety are our top priority. We value and reward your contributions and ensure Belonging and Inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.

Benefits on offer:

  • Opportunity to get an additional week of annual leave after your first year (25 days), volunteer leave, and dedicated celebration and wellness days.
