Job Description

At TAL, trust is at the heart of everything we do. As Marketing Manager, Social, Influence & Authority, you'll help strengthen TAL's visibility, credibility, relevance and reputation by shaping how customers experience, engage with and advocate for our brand. Through compelling content, authentic customer stories, influencer partnerships, customer advocacy and industry recognition, you'll build TAL's authority and increase discoverability across social and AI-powered platforms. This is an opportunity to help more Australians understand the value of Life Insurance while bringing our purpose of protecting Australians' way of life to life every day.

In this role you will:

  • Execute TAL's social influence and authority strategy to strengthen brand visibility, credibility, relevance, and trust.
  • Create compelling content and storytelling that builds authority and deepens customer engagement.
  • Manage influencer and creator partnerships that expand reach, grow TAL's addressable market, help drive future demand and enhance brand advocacy.
  • Manage earned media, customer reviews, and industry recognition to elevate TAL's reputation.
  • Amplify authentic customer and claims stories that build trust and bring TAL's purpose to life.
  • Own TAL's consumer awards calendar, including entry identification, submission development, stakeholder coordination, and results tracking to support brand and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive TAL's customer review program across Google, Trustpilot, and other review platforms, scaling review generation through key customer and business touchpoints.
  • Use data, insights, and commercial thinking to optimise performance, improve visibility and discoverability, and drive measurable marketing outcomes, including relevance across AI-powered search and discovery platforms.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in social media, content, influencer, public relations, reputation management, or related marketing roles, preferably within a regulated consumer category.
  • Hands-on experience managing agency partners and delivering influencer, creator, earned media, or advocacy campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience developing award submissions, agency briefs, media materials, or customer-facing content.
  • Experience using social media management, analytics, listening, and review-monitoring platforms.
  • Proven ability to use insights and performance data to optimise marketing effectiveness and engagement.
