Job Description

  • Own and optimise digital marketing content and activity that directly drives customer acquisition and commercial performance 

  • Work closely with digital, legal, data & analytics, creative and media teams to shape data led digital marketing strategies and maximise ROI 

  • Full time 12-month opportunity based at Qantas Head Office in Mascot

As a Marketing Manager you’ll lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of digital marketing activity that drives customer acquisition. Working closely with marketing leadership and internal digital, legal, data & analytics, creative and media teams, you’ll manage always-on paid media, website and app content, and customer journeys, using data and insights to drive customer acquisition, engagement and ongoing performance. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead the planning, creative and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns, including always-on paid media such as SEM and retargeting across social and display. 

  • Manage website and app content across core marketing placements, ensuring it's optimised for performance and aligned to brand.  

  • Optimise customer acquisition user journeys to ensure traffic is directed to the highest-converting pages, continually testing and refining based on performance data.  

  • Partner with internal digital, legal, data & analytics, creative and media teams to identify opportunities, deploy learnings and optimise activity on an ongoing basis.  

  • Ensure all digital marketing activity meets brand, legal and commercial requirements. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring: 

  • 5 years’ digital marketing experience, including experience reviewing marketing collateral for brand, commercial and legal requirements.  

  • Ecommerce experience is highly regarded but not essential. 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Business.  

  • Experience managing relationships and working with internal stakeholders across digital, legal, data & analytics, creative and media teams. 

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a commercial understanding of campaign performance.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.  

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to balance commercial and customer objectives.  

  • A highly organised, proactive and dynamic approach, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
