About the Role:

As a Marketing Specialist you will craft, deploy and report on the success of marketing campaigns for your portfolio into the region. Collaborating with key internal partners, you will build campaigns to support and improve commercial success. You will have a passion for marketing and completing campaigns that both address our customers’ needs and promote the Thermo Fisher Scientific brand.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, events and sales activations to promote product portfolio.
  • Develop creative content and marketing material for use in emails, social media, sales collateral and advertisements.
  • Manage the production and distribution of marketing collateral.
  • Work closely with product management to understand strategic goals and product positioning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, communications, design, digital) and external vendors to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
  • Provide support and training to the sales team on new marketing initiatives and materials.
  • Monitor critical metrics including lead and revenue generation, digital channel performance and other campaign metrics.
  • Utilise analytics tools to measure the efficiency of campaigns and strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance and return on investment to collaborators.
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures.
  • Stay up to date on the market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly update internal partners and senior leadership on campaign progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration on initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on marketing activities and results.
  • Identify areas for optimisation and implement data-driven improvements to marketing tactics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies to ensure innovative and effective marketing approaches.
Keys to Success:Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the scientific or healthcare industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Proven track record in crafting and completing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
