Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to play a critical role in the successful delivery of a complex, multi-project program. This role is responsible for building and maintaining an integrated Master Schedule across more than 10 concurrent projects, providing clear visibility of critical paths, dependencies, resource demand, and delivery risks.

You will work closely with Delivery Leads, the PMO, and senior stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity, high-quality reporting, and proactive management of risks and dependencies across the program.

Own and maintain the integrated Program Master Schedule, consolidating multiple project schedules into a single, accurate source of truth using Microsoft Project. Ensure consistent structure, dependencies, calendars, and resource allocation across all delivery streams.

Proactively manage critical paths, dependencies, and delivery risks, working closely with Delivery Leads to resolve issues early and protect key milestones. Lead cross-project dependency mapping to prevent conflicts and resource contention.

Uplift schedule quality and maturity by supporting Delivery Leads with best-practice planning, conducting schedule health checks, and driving continuous improvement in data accuracy and governance. Provide clear, actionable insights through consolidated reporting, dashboards, and scenario (“what-if”) analysis to inform executive decision-making and planning options.

Support strong governance and control, maintaining baselines, version control, and change control in line with PMO standards, and contributing to steering committee and assurance activities.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a Master Scheduler or Senior Project Scheduler on large, complex programs

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (including resource management and baselining)

  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis and dependency management

  • Experience working within PMO or structured governance environments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence Delivery Leads and senior stakeholders

  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
