Podean is seeking an experienced Media Manager who will be instrumental in the success of Amazon and other marketplace media campaigns. This role requires the ability to set-up, optimise and analyse media activity and manage sophisticated and complex campaigns. The successful individual will have a passion for guiding their client’s ecommerce media campaigns to success. Your focus will be on leading the day-to-day management & optimisation of marketplace campaigns and work across your book of business to unlock opportunities for growth, innovation, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply analytical reasoning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to optimize campaigns and maximize performance.
  • Provide proactive coaching, task management, and timeline requirements to specialists, fostering growth and functional expertise.
  • Take ownership of performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback to support team development.
  • Client Communication: Engage in daily communication with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and success across campaigns. Be a key point of contact for clients, third-party vendors, and internal departments on all things marketplace media and paid search.
  • Develop Media Strategies: Develop and execute marketplace media strategies, including strategic roadmaps, and test plans. Translate client objectives into campaign strategies and tactics, unlocking value and efficiency in campaign execution.
  • Complex Project Management: Take on more intricate projects and manage high-profile client accounts.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and advertising best practices to enhance strategy development.
  • Media Planning & Execution: Build a strong understanding of media planning and campaign management, and independently manage campaign budgets.
  • Data Analysis & Research: Analyse campaign performance data and conduct research to deliver actionable insights & data-driven recommendations to clients. Apply analytical reasoning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to optimise campaigns and maximise performance.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee the execution of media campaigns to ensure they meet performance targets and client expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to support campaign success and foster a collaborative work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of paid search or media buying experience, ideally within an agency setting
  • Strong client service and communication skills, with the ability to lead conversations, build relationships, and inspire confidence
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of delivering actionable insights and measurable results
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and chart creation; familiarity with macros is a plus)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
