About the Role

The HPI Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting sales execution by acting as a central point of contact for reseller partners and internal teams. The role focuses on managing partner demand, delivering timely and accurate quoting, and enabling key high-value partners to drive HPI sales growth. Working closely with the Vendor Business Manager (VBM), this position is key to improving responsiveness, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall partner experience. Success in this role requires strong commercial judgement, efficiency, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for reseller partners, managing inbound queries and ensuring timely, accurate responses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a targeted group of high-value partners to drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes for HPI products, ensuring correct pricing, configurations, and alignment with vendor guidelines.
  • Support partners with product selection, availability insights, and alternative solutions based on customer needs.
  • Work closely with the Vendor Business Manager (VBM) to align on pricing, deal support, and business priorities.
  • Proactively handle partner enquiries to improve response efficiency and reduce reliance on VBM for routine queries.
  • Identify and prioritise key revenue-generating opportunities within the partner base.
  • Enable partners through ongoing education on HPI products, promotions, and positioning.
  • Communicate relevant vendor programs, incentives, and bundles to maximise sell-through.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, quotes, and opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Contribute to improving response times, workflows, and overall partner experience.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in sales support, inside sales, account management, or channel roles (technology or distribution preferred).
  • Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and make effective commercial decisions.
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and partner satisfaction.
  • Experience with quoting, pricing, and product configuration processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and vendor counterparts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to maintain performance under pressure and high workload.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured processes (e.g., SOPs, tracking, response management) is an advantage.
