About this role

Support delivery of customer business performance through execution of commercial plans, analysis and operational excellence across assigned customers and portfolios.

The role supports National Account Managers and National Business Managers in delivering Joint Business Plans (JBP) and commercial plans by managing key processes, providing analysis and ensuring accurate execution of agreed plans.

Act as a diligent commercial operator, ensuring high-quality execution, reporting accuracy and disciplined performance tracking, while finding opportunities to improve customer outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

Support delivery of customer plans and/or Joint Business Planning (JBP) by coordinating inputs, tracking actions and ensuring accurate execution of agreed initiatives.

  • Sell in and implement pricing and promotional plans within customers, ensuring accurate implementation and alignment to agreed commercial strategy.
  • Provide high-quality analysis, reporting and performance tracking, supporting identification of risks, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
  • Partner with NAMs, NBM, Revenue, Category and Planning teams to ensure accurate data, strong execution rigor and effective delivery of commercial plans.

Execution of agreed customer plans and promotional activity

  • Day-to-day management of smaller customer relationships
  • Prioritisation of tasks to ensure delivery of customer commitments
  • Management of routine customer queries and operational issues

Recommendations Expected

  • Customer insights, risks and opportunities to NAM/NBM
  • Improvements to execution, reporting and planning processes
  • Inputs into forecasting, demand planning and performance tracking
  • Opportunities to optimise promotional execution or customer performance

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for delivery of sales, volume and execution targets within assigned customers
  • Supports accurate tracking of trade spend, promotional activity and customer performance
  • Contributes to forecasting accuracy and demand planning inputs
  • Supports delivery of AOP commitments within customer group

Market/Function Complexity

  • Operates across smaller or developing customers with lower structural complexity
  • Focuses on execution accuracy, operational delivery and performance tracking rather than strategy ownership
  • Works within defined commercial frameworks, processes and approval structures
  • Requires strong coordination across internal stakeholders and systems

The required qualifications for this role are:

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in FMCG, Sales, Commercial, Customer Development, or Analyst roles. Recent graduates with strong commercial acumen and a passion for sales are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in Sales, Account Management, Commercial Operations, or FMCG/customer-facing roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting customer plans, promotions, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on execution excellence and process accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
