We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a National Account Executive to join our Sales team in Melbourne, Australia!

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Support the National Account Managers in the development and implementation of short- and long-term collaborative business plans.
  • Support the National Account Managers in their weekly financial reporting routine.
  • Manage key weekly and monthly reporting routines for the account team, including tracking Joint Business Plan (JBP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
  • Manage the claims process for the team, processing weekly outstanding claims and investigating anomalies.
  • Support the build of effective promotional plans and execution, which forms part of the account planning process, including new line submissions and pricing queries.
  • Leverage category data to generate category sales opportunities through effective collaboration with the category and marketing teams.
  • Support the National Account Managers to submit a sales forecast along with assumptions for sign off at monthly demand meetings.

About you:
  • Previous experience in FMCG sales, category, marketing or relevant account management disciplines highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise way
  • A can-do attitude, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team
  • A desire to continuously learn and develop your skills and knowledge
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners
  • A clear vision for your future career in sales and account management
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Business or a related discipline
  • Eligibility to work in Australia, with full working rights
