At UHG, our culture connects our values to specific behaviours so people know what is expected, encouraged, and rewarded within our teams and organisation.

Job Description

As part of our high‑performing Customer Team, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues across operations, product, and commercial teams to shape solutions that make a genuine difference. This role will be based in Melbourne and is perfect for someone who enjoys thinking commercially, engaging strategically, and working with a business that backs fresh ideas and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build strong, meaningful partnerships with national insurance clients in workers compensation and CTP
  • Lead the account strategy — from stakeholder mapping and relationship building through to planning, reviews, proposals and insights
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through intelligent cross‑sell, up‑sell and solution design across both UHG and the broader MedHealth Group
  • Bring a strong commercial mindset to negotiations and contract discussions
  • Use data, customer insights and market intelligence to influence decisions and drive customer success
  • Champion innovation by collaborating with our internal teams to evolve products and improve service offerings
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring alignment between expectations, service delivery and performance
  • Represent UHG at industry events, customer site visits and national forums (with occasional interstate travel)

Qualifications

What You Should Have

  • Demonstrated capacity to retain and grow existing customer revenue, and identifying new business opportunities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of various levels
  • Computer literate especially with the Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Customer focus by providing timely and professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work autonomously while also a strong team player with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
