This is a key role focused on delivering sustainable portfolio performance across a complex, highly regulated insurance environment. You’ll play a critical role in shaping portfolio and pricing strategies, providing data‑driven insights, and partnering across the business to support growth, profitability and scheme outcomes.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Product – CTP, you will provide commercial insight, lead analysis and work collaboratively across the business to support sustainable profitability, growth and scheme outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the team in developing, delivering and monitoring portfolio and pricing to drive sustainable profitability, growth and scheme performance.
- Lead ongoing portfolio and segment performance reviews, analysing trends, risks and opportunities and recommending evidence‑based corrective actions.
- Contribute to and influence pricing decisions by leading analysis to support rate changes, monitoring pricing outcomes and assessing impacts on growth, retention and portfolio performance.
- Proactively monitor portfolio results and key performance indicators, applying sound judgement to identify material issues, risks or variances and escalating insights supported by clear analysis.
- Prepare high‑quality analysis, recommendations and materials for senior stakeholders and governance forums, supporting informed portfolio and pricing decisions.
- Partner closely with regulators and internal stakeholders—including Distribution, Actuarial, Claims, Marketing, IT and Finance—and lead contributions to budgeting, reporting and portfolio monitoring to ensure accurate, consistent management information.
About you
You enjoy working with data, influencing outcomes and navigating complexities. You bring strong analytical capability, sound judgement and the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders in a regulated environment.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, pricing, analytics or a related commercial role within insurance or financial services.
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting data, identifying trends and translating insights into clear, practical recommendations and actions.
- Experience supporting pricing analysis, with an understanding of how pricing decisions impact portfolio performance, growth and retention.
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and technical teams.
- Sound commercial judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to work proactively in a complex, regulated environment (including exposure to CTP or regulated products where applicable).
- Ability to operate confidently across multiple priorities and tight timeframes, while remaining accountable for delivering high‑quality outcomes.
