A bit about your role
The Network Automation Engineer supports strategic technology improvements across NetOps by applying an engineering approach to enhance network reliability and meet business and service objectives. Working collaboratively within an agile team, the role designs and delivers scalable, self-service automation capabilities, contributes to planning and prioritisation activities, and supports continuous improvement through testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder feedback. It focuses on building effective relationships across teams, ensuring solutions are reliable, compliant, and cost-effective, while maintaining high-quality delivery in a dynamic and evolving environment.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in network engineering within telecommunications or IT environments, with expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and managing complex network systems and protocols. They are skilled in programming and data platforms, and work effectively within agile frameworks to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. The role values strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, alongside sound problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and compliance. Candidates are also able to build relationships, influence outcomes, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
