We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our Support Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our client’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st Level remote and on-site support to a diverse range of customers. 
  • Prioritise, progress and resolve network related faults and requests. 
  • Ability to understand, prepare and maintain technical documentations (network diagram, as built) 
  • Deliver timely support by following process and keeping clients informed at every stage. 
  • Proactively monitor and maintain managed network devices while identifying and resolving risks; 
  • Be part of rotational on call roster for after hours support.  

Requirements
  • Cisco CCNA Certified 
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Networking infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points) 
  • Basic experience in troubleshooting and implementing firewall policies, Client VPN, WAN/ISP Uplinks, Wireless Access Points 
  • Foundational understanding of core protocols like DNS and DHCP 
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills 

Desired Skills

  • FortiGate Certified (NSE) or similar 
  • Basic understanding of BGP, IPSec and SDWAN 
  • Familiar with some sort of Unified Threat Management Platform (Fortinet or Palo Alto or Sophos etc)
