Job Description

Expression of Interest - Operations Administration Assistant

  • Casual position available for variable hours and days based on operational needs
  • Based at Campbelltown Campus
  • Salary: HEW 4 $79,542 – $84,683 per annum (Pro Rata), plus 25% casual loading. 

                         
The Opportunity
Provide essential administrative support enabling smooth Faculty operations and service delivery on a casual ad hoc basis.

You will help provide high-quality administrative support that underpins the effective delivery of operational and academic services across the Faculty. This includes coordination of IT access, asset tracking and procurement activities, along with the processing of travel and expense claims and invoicing. Maintain accurate records, manage shared inboxes, and ensure timely responses to staff and stakeholder requests.

Support day-to-day operational activities by liaising with the Operations Manager and working collaboratively across multiple schools and teams within the Faculty. The role requires consistent attention to detail as you coordinate facilities matters, assist with casual administration processes, and contribute to maintaining compliance with University requirements.

Contribute to a responsive and professional service environment, supporting meeting coordination, maintaining well-organised data across systems, and assisting staff and stakeholders with general enquiries. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy across multiple systems and processes.

Eligibility 
To be eligible for casual employment, applicants must meet the below criteria: 

  • Proven experience in administrative support and operations compliance.
  • Experience in coordinating IT, asset, procurement, and travel requests.
  • Experience delivering administration processes on time while remaining compliant.
  • Experience managing shared inboxes and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Records are maintained accurately, supporting reporting and audit requirements.
  • Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise across stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise
