You gather information, execute, and implement automation and the digitization strategy to deliver the outcomes of automation to support the Operations function. Role will interact with a wide range of organizations outside Operations so effective communication and broad knowledge of the Custody industry is critical to an individual’s success. Successful candidates will be expected to be change leads who can manage multiple tasks across multiple projects and be able to leverage and apply their experience effectively.
Job responsibilities:
Work will consist of projects of various sizes from large multi-year strategic efforts to short duration tactical deliveries.
- Drive and support strategic operational and business strategy including thought leadership across operations teams
- Create and maintain necessary project documentation including business cases, project plans, presentations, issue reports and other necessary documentation, tracking progress as needed
- Provide governance and program structure, including regular updates at all levels up to and including business executives
- Analyze and define solutions against strategic objectives, requirements, and work prioritization
- Leads all aspects of process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while adhering to the firm’s standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance
- Identifies, designs, and manages the operational automation strategy in partnership with key stakeholders and works with technology to create the required infrastructure to support the capability of intelligence automation
- Coaches and mentors less experienced team members on the automation tools and potentially creates and delivers training courses and the curriculum around workflow automation
- Manages and ensures the delivery of Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and/or metrics with key stakeholders to define benefit from the operational automation / transformation
- Works with technology to create the required infrastructure to support the capability of low-code automation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years delivering Project management, intelligent automation, and business analysis (or equivalent)
- Excellent project management skills e.g. project initiation, project control and governance, tracking and best practices, demonstrated ability to manage multiple project commitments simultaneously across a varied book of work.
- Solid understanding of software development principles
- Advanced skills in Python, and API configuration
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and UiPath and ability to strategically understand, conceptualize design framework
- Pragmatic decision making to overcome obstacles, be a strong individual contributor, lead, and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills. proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to gather and analyze complex data to form accurate, business-informed conclusions
- Strong business/technical problem-solving for complex operating models, anticipating issues and mitigating risk with technology
- Ability to analyze complex operational processes and data to assess risk implications with sound business understanding
- Ability to deliver information to senior management/stakeholders, accurately, concisely and in a professional manner and manage expectations, Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- MBA or master’s degree preferable
- Advanced skills and understanding of business analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
