THE ROLE

As an Operations Specialist part of our APAC regional team you'll focus on executing regional processes and managing a set of our local depots and their respective local teams. You will be focused on executing daily operations in order to drive operational results on availability of the fleet, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency of your region. 

You will have ownership on the execution of end-to-end processes that support the achievement of those objectives, spanning from real estate expansion projects, fleet management, day-to-day property management, guaranteeing health and safety norms are attained to procuring a network of partners that complement our resources.

Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Director, you will play an essential role in the execution of our operation. You will need to coordinate your actions with your team members and local operations and your actions will have a direct impact on results.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Understand, adapt, and contribute to the evolution of local operational and asset-management-related procedures designed by central teams, ensuring their applicability to your region.
  • Maximize operational efficiency and fleet availability through the execution of vehicle in-fleeting, intervention management, and de-fleeting procedures.
  • Guarantee proper stock management and ensure that your region is stocked with the necessary inventory and spare parts to maintain operations, including procurement and purchasing when required.
  • Act as the regional point of contact for all local partners and suppliers (workshops, logistics companies, real estate, laundry, cleaning services, gas suppliers) to ensure daily operations meet defined quality and throughput standards.
  • Coordinate and lead the development and negotiation of supplier relationships, including those related to fleet maintenance, real estate, and other operational services.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the business through fleet network development, real estate procurement, and the negotiation of partnerships to expand the regional supplier network.
  • Ensure that local operations comply with health, safety, and other regulatory standards, while creating physical spaces that enable operational excellence.
  • Play a major role in controlling vehicle operating costs, inventory efficiency, and overall cost management within your region.
  • Support regional growth and expansion projects, contributing insights and leadership to ensure smooth execution.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education & Background: Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Education, Business Management, or a similar field. Experience in fleet management, logistics, procurement, supplier management, or a related field is highly valued.
  • Action-Oriented: You take initiative to address operational needs, solve problems, and ensure the smooth flow of work.
  • Organized & Analytical: Strong ability to analyze data, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: You follow detailed procedures closely, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit with the willingness to work closely with team members and local teams to contribute to shared goals.
  • Adaptable & Resilient: Ability to adjust plans to meet evolving demands while following procedures to reach desired results.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, local partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Italian or German is highly desirable.
