Who we are looking for
Custody Tax team handles client documentations for availing tax reliefs or to process tax reclaim that withheld at source of dividend/interest payments.
What you will be responsible for
Your key responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze tax information and documentation provided from client
• Support onboarding of new clients for custody tax related processes
• Update tax database allowing correct fiscal treatment according to applicable client residence, status and sub-custodians procedures
• Provide clients with regular market updates and tax filing status
• Manage fiscal documentation required for relief-at-source and monitor the application status
• Collaborate with internal counterpart in EMEA and North America to collect tax information and resolve client enquiry
• Perform daily controls on team activity as per existing SOP and checklists to ensure priorities have been respected and tasks have been properly performed.
What we value
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in custody operation or tax administration
• Sound Knowledge about Custody Operations, Tax Relief at source and Reclaim
• Fluency in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changes
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational skills.
